10 Days Walking & Wildlife Safari in Kenya

You’ll be picked at the airport upon your arrival in the Morning. You’ll then be briefed about your stay in Kenya by our professional guides before being transferred to the Nguruman Escarpment for the start of your walking safari. You can stop along the way to buy some drinks or any other supplies you need from the supermarket. You’ll also have a stop over enroute for lunch. You’ll be expected to get to Nguruman by early evening. As the team sets up camp, you can go for a brief nature walk in the evening to take in the surroundings. Dinner and Overnight will be at the Campsite Nairobi-Nguruman is about 5hrs drive

Breakfast at the campsite, then departure at 0700hrs for the next camp.  Walk through beautiful Maasai land towards Njoroi. The Nguruman escarpment is beautiful and divides the drier side of Nguruman with the wetter side of Loita hills. It’s an amazing contrast and you’ll enjoy your walk through these two varying areas. The walk takes about 5-6hrs. Your Dinner and Overnight will be at the Njoroi campsite

Have breakfast at the camp, then depart at 0700hrs for the 4-5hr walk to Enkutoto. You’ll get to see excellent views of the surrounding area such as lake Magadi, Ngong hills and Lake Natron. Your Dinner and Overnight will be at Enkutoto

After breakfast, leave Enkutoto and walk for about 5hrs across the rolling hills towards Morinjo. You’ll get to walk through the Loita forest, few of the remaining true-forested wilderness area in East Africa. This area is a favourite roost for velvet monkeys. And if lucky you can also spot the bohor reedbuck, East African Eland, Warthog, and the striking black and white Colobus Monkeys. Dinner and Overnight at Morinjo campsite

Breakfast at the camp, then departure for Letukunyi. It’s a 4-5hr walk in the remote Maasai land. Far away from civilization giving you ample time to exhale and refresh your mind, body and soul. Your Dinner and Overnight will be at Letukunyi

Early breakfast at the camp, then departure for Ndarara. It’s a 5hr walk with wonderful views and if lucky you’ll see the white and black colobus monkey along the way. You’ll then have your lunch at Ndarara before bidding the walking team goodbye after a fantastic walking safari. You’ll then be picked up by our safari vehicle and transferred to the Karen Blixen camp in the nearby Masai Mara(the drive is about 2hr driving slowly since you pass through the Masai Mara heading to the camp). Breakfast at Karen Blixen then a Game drive in the World Famous Masai Mara! Your lunch will be back at the camp. Afternoon at leisure then another evening gamedrive. Dinner and Overnight at the Karen Blixen camp

Breakfast at the camp, then an optional full day game drive in the Mara(you can also opt for a morning and evening game drive only). The Mara is a wonderful place to see wildlife, in their natural state, undisturbed by modernity and still wild and free. Your Lunch, Dinner and Overnight will be at the Karen Blixen camp

Breakfast at the camp, then departure for the airstrip for your mid morning flight back to Nairobi. You can enjoy a final gamedrive enroute to the airstrip. You’ll be expected to land in Nairobi at about 1300hrs. You’ll be picked by our driver and dropped at the Tamarind tree hotel for your Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel, then you’ll be dropped at the JKIA airport for your onward flight back home after a fantastic time in Kenya!
